The laptop Acer extensa 2540 I just got it is the device I needed and expected to be - fast and in excelent condition of duty.

I am really very happy with this machine. It looks good, is light and slim and everything is working beautifully.

Very fast, boots up in a matter of a few seconds, I am very pleased with the sound and video quality, if you want a higher volume, then I suggest you plug your headphones in or get a pair of speakers, I have been using it for about 2 months and it is working perfectly, if you look after it, it should last for awhile, thank you!

Nothing outstanding, there are similar PCs on the market, but having a rather ancient PC that is creaking a bit, my needs were for fast startup and response time, 15.6 screen (rather than 14), decent battery life and a fair amount of storage (not yet ready to put everything on the Cloud). I don’t play games and rarely stream videos but do a lot of web browsing and office work. This PC seemed to satisfy all these at a fair price.Having used it for a week it does the job.

This is a great laptop. Very quick to boot up and fast at doing lots of tasks. I’ve had this for a few weeks now and it works like a dream.

mains plug at rear of laptop, nuisance to fit. no disk drive, didn't check before purchase, had to buy separate unit. usb connections etc at rear nuisance to fit.

I bought this laptop for internet access on a decent sized screen (rather than phone or tablet) and for producing and saving documents. It's larger than some of the most popular models but I really like the wide screen. Speeds are good so far. Just starting to get used to this version of Windows after years of using older versions at work. Watch out for the automatic subscription to Windows 365, you have to register a payment card in order to use the one month free trial and it took me by surprise but Microsoft were very quick to refund.
