The only issue I have with it is that when it is on the timer for the morning the blue light (around the timer button) does not switch off, which is using extra power that doesn't need to as the display indicates that it is on the timer.
Dan1st time ive ever owned a coffee maker, i wish i brought one years ago. This product is super easy to use, easy to keep clean. I always fill it to make 2 cups of coffee in the morning which it does it hardly no time at all. Filter is easy to empty and clean.
GloRReally great coffee machine! Serves up to 14 cups, looks great but works even better and really easy to clean. I recommend using filter papers as this keeps the coffee really smooth and helps with cleaning too. I’d definitely recommend to a large family or office - great value for money :-)

AnonBrilliant machine, the handle on the jug feels a bit flimsy but I've seen I can buy replacements (just in case). It looks great and works really well, keeps the coffee at a nice temperature. Only down side is my coffee intake has increased as has my shopping bill for all the different coffees

JohnGreat coffee machine and much more reliable and better made than a cheaper other branded model (Russell Hobbs) I bought in the past. Nice and quiet during coffee brewing process (except when beans are being grounded and when the water reservoir is just about to finish). Very convenient having the timer on function, coffee strength buttons and choices of grinding (course to fine). Handy to set the water hardness level and know it advises you when it needed descaling. Good too having flexibility between beans and already ground coffee. Can't say anything negative and I believe it's worth the money. Don't buy cheap to buy twice - but this it's got a 3 year guarantee and made in Germany!

MoanaeoisaFilter machine looks like a super expensive bean-to-cup machine. Don't tell anyone. Taste? Take your favourite ground coffee and within minutes you will have a superb cup of coffee. Not strong enough? Press the strength button. Sorted. Cleaning the nylon filter is easy. Morning coffee? Now this is tricky! The machine is very efficient but to set the time you have to be quick. Delay too long and you're changing the time. Practice is the answer. Buy this machine and you won't be disappointed
GrumpyOldManWanted an easy to use filter coffee machine , this fits the bill. Keeps warm for 40 minutes, if wanting for longer switch on again. I use a paper filter as well as a lot of grains go through the permanent filter. Coffee nice and hot very happy with machine would recommend.

Bought the same updated model and it is even better than the last ,simple to use/program ,perfect coffee,easy clean. Warmer stays on approx 40 minutes want longer press the button again another 40 mins. Nothing bad to say this product Looks great and is great. Thankyou Argos for easy purchase as usual.

ElinoreThis coffee machine is brilliant. The permanent filter is great as I don't have to waste paper filters. The ability to make a stronger coffee appeals to me too. The stay warm for 40 minutes function is a welcome addition. And it can make a huge amount of coffee in one sitting. However, The glass jug is only marked from 8 large cups. If you want to make 4, it's guesswork as to how much water to use. And cleaning the jug is difficult as the lid does not separate from the jug.
AlIt looks good, makes a good quantity of coffee really well. The mesh filter it a bit of a let down but we like to use recycled paper filters anyway. It works very well and seems to be reliable. No complaints.
